Swords from Driftwood - Blue Sky Black Death
It’s past midnight, and I’m still at the office. This song sounds really good right now, though.

Relaxing journal-reading music.
Such a nice version of the DS9 theme.
The themes of the Star Trek spin-offs (and TOS, of course) make me happy.

Hurricane by 30 Seconds To Mars
There is a fire inside and it started a riot about to explode into flames.
I’m watching the uncensored film for this right now.
Mountaineer - White Sea
The Naked and Famous killed it tonight. They were so much more sophisticated and crunchy on stage than their studio album led me to believe.
It’s also rare that I’m so impressed with an opener. I’d never heard of White Sea before this evening, but I have a feeling we’ll all be hearing a lot more from Morgan Kibby and her band of nerdy retro synth pop cuties.
I can’t even tell you how gorgeous this track sounded live.
I love the oxymoron of retro synth.

The Satellite in Silverlake CA - 7/15/11
Time by Hans Zimmer
Everytime this song comes on, I can’t help but stop what I’m doing and turn it on full volume.
This is beautiful.

Who else thinks this is the best performance of Supermassive Black Hole?
Live from Shepherds Bush Empire 2006.
Sorry for reblogging so many Muse songs, but I’ve been looking for this version for ages (SERIOUSLY) and yes, it is the best live performance of SMBH.
The vastly superior version of Assassin, better known as Debase Masons Grog. This is from Buffalo 2005.
There’s actually a short clip of the first performance of Debase Masons Grog. You can find that here.
Thank you, fuckyeahmuse-live, for existing.
This is vastly superior.
Man with a Harmonica + Knights of Cydonia live at Fuji Rock Festival 2010
The best live version of KoC.
I am going to have to agree that this is the best live version. Mind = blown.
